Workforce Development Sectors

In 2001 Pilot IMS was originally established to support the skills needs of West Midlands manufacturers. Our high standard of delivery has meant that we have not only spread out nationally to train supply chains but also widened the sectors where we are able to offer support. As a result we now offer staff development programmes within the following sectors:

        – Manufacturing & Engineering

        – Logistics & Warehousing

        – Customer Services

It’s important that our programmes are adaptable to the needs of the employer as one size does not fit all. The sector specific needs for example of a cake manufacturer will not be the same as the manufacturer of titanium metal products. We offer accredited and bespoke programmes that are fully adaptable.

With over 13 years experience we also understand the pressures of production and differing shift patterns and with this in mind our programmes are designed to have minimum impact on productivity.

Equally as our sectors are varied, so too are the job roles that we can develop. For example, within a manufacturing company it’s common to find shop floor operators, supervisors, team leaders, managers, warehousers, packers, customer service advisor’s, administrators, quality control and IT clerks. We have programmes that address the needs of all of these and more.
