Young people from Staffordshire are embarking on a “Nu-Future”, thanks to an exciting new programme delivered by skills provider, Pilot.
Nu-Futures provides young people aged 15 years and above, with the opportunity to learn new skills and develop the attributes to move into further education or employment. With a strong reputation for developing the skills of local people and source employment with partner organisations, Pilot is well placed to deliver the new programme.
“We think Nu-Futures provides a terrific model for supporting young people who perhaps may not have always responded to traditional classroom-based education,” explains Pilot Director, Andy Pettigrew.
“Our methods are really based on providing a practical setting through which we can help to nurture confidence and develop the talents that these young people undoubtedly possess.”
Pilot’s delivery is certainly proving popular with participants, with 88% of end of course evaluations rating the programme as “outstanding”. Alex from Stafford said: “Nu-Futures has definitely helped me to gain more confidence and encouraged me to meet new people. I would recommend the course to other people of my age.”
Nu-Futures is an ESF/SFA programme, delivered by Pilot on behalf of APM.
