Sustainable employment opportunities

Tailor made programmes to support young people into work

Learning on the job through an apprenticeship is the ideal way to develop skills, achieve nationally recognised qualifications and enhance future career prospects. Apprenticeships focus on high relevance employability skills and include the continued development of English and maths.

Undertaking an Apprenticeship means paid employment from day one, working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

The government have set out their ambition to create a world leading workforce and they believe that to reach this goal, Apprenticeships will play a major role. The government funds the training and subject to eligibility, offers financial incentives to employers that take on a new Apprentice.
